Wish list #2

by

This may be a big deal to fix – but it seems like it would make more sense if the door to the trash/recycling room on each floor opened out instead of in. On my floor it is usually open – and is the first thing guests see when stepping out of the lift! Typically it’s open because once there are few items stacked up the door tends to have to stay open so you can get stuff in – and the super can get stuff out. This has been made worse due to all the chute blockages -but still seems like it could be a good idea anyway.

our apartment was painted a year ago so the previous paint code given for the walls is not accurate after all. does anyone know what the paint code is for the walls for apartments? moses and willie the painter don’t seem to know?

yeah – agreed – i tried buying the paint codes (wall & ceiling ) mentioned previously on the blog – (both at benjamin moore – and home depot) and was told they didn’t exist.. great if someone figured this out.

apparently the apartments were painted over a year ago and they used different painters, and apparently these painters cannot be found nor the paint numbers. ?

I have the trim code if anyone needs it-just have to get the can from storage. As far as the ceiling and walls-I was told by Benjamin Moore that most don’t carry, as it is the cheapest of cheap paints-you may want to just go over with a different white.
