Neighborhood Shops ?

All I have discovered so far is a great hardware store –

Crest True Value : 558 Metropolitan Ave (between Lorimer St & Union Ave) – (718) 388-9521 – Mon-Sat 8am-7pm

Anyone found a grocery/supermarket, pharmacy, anything else that might be useful ?

Tops supermarket on North 6th btwn Berry and Wythe. Do not be fool by it dingy appearance, this place huge is a great place to shop and the Prices are fair.

Has anyone mounted their TVs on the wall (and sunk the cords in the wall) and if so, who have they used? Also interested in to hear what people are doing about blinds.

FYI:

I picked up my washer & dryer, along with a vacuum, at Zayas Appliance Store. The staff was really helpful and they gave me the best prices on the models I wanted (I scoured the web prior to purchasing). The store is only a few blocks from our building.
